8 Good Girl, Sad Boy

Let’s look at a common trope in young adult fiction, one that also infests real life and messes with people’s lives every day.

What is a good girl? Why is it a trap? What makes a sad boy the person who deserves all the attention and help? Why is this a nightmare combination that’s not good for anyone?

I am full of questions today apparently.

Also my computer kept freezing up to the point that I threatened it (verbally) with a sledgehammer. I would never! But I will delete everything and return you to a reset point. You’ve frozen up on me and deleted my audio recording for the last time! I hope!

Seriously, I was losing my mind. Staring at the trees over the monitor, talking away, then look down and see it’s NOT RECORDING ANYMORE.
