7 Dual Storylines, Past and Present
What happens in fiction when there are dual storylines, past and present? How does it relate to how we deal with our own pasts and process trauma?
There are a million books we could talk about here, but I wanted to talk about it generally first before I get into specifics.
I do mention Joan Aiken’s Regency novel The Five-Minute Marriage, which deals with these things, also the pilot episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the best discussion of PTSD in SFF that I can think of outside Murderbot.
