4 The Last Flight of Dr. Ain

In the fourth episode, I take a look at open and closed mysteries in the context of James Tiptree Jr.’s story “The Last Flight of Dr. Ain.”

It makes a huge difference when a mystery is open or closed, so I need to decide which type to use in a novel.

I’m also getting into what we’re in all this for, what we love and chase after, general sacred cheese of life stuff that matters enormously for character development and real life and all that.

Tallulah dog clicks around, jingles her tags, and squeaks a tennis ball, but on the plus side, the bulldozers and excavators waited until I was done to get all noisy. Thanks, heavy machinery!

Oh plus I crack myself up exceedingly at the end talking about all the new merch I made over the weekend. Hoo boy. So funny. I am wearing the shirt of the band to see the band and also I AM the band. Outstanding!

Sacred cheese of life!
