25 Agents of SHIELD and Identity

The show Agents of SHIELD is all about identity, to the point where once you notice it, it’s absolutely everywhere and pervades everything throughout the entire series.

I’m fascinated by identity. Who we are, who we think we are, who we want to be. Who we are that means we can’t do the thing. Who other people tell us we’re not and can never be. Who put you in charge? But then there’s also that person who decided she’s black when she’s really not, so.

Lots of fun material in this one, including Thanksgiving dinner discussion, yachts, and about ten or twelve barks from Tallulah dog. My computer froze up at least seven times. But boy have I been doing my research on this one for years and years. And years. I’m about to go do some more! Make me stop upholstering though because oh my poor hands!

New merch coming out, including shirts and stickers that say “character conflict choice consequences” in Cooper Black. I want that t-shirt. And I’m in a position to make that happen. Hurray!
